Our mission
Our mission is to develop the highest standards of professionalism in the battery recycling industry by promoting best practice in health, safety and environment and by preserving natural resources while respecting the European regulatory framework.
What we do
EBRA works everyday defending the interests of our members by following the development of legislation at EU level concerning batteries, and by helping our members with the implementation and compliance of that legislation.
In doing this, we publish position papers, we defend the interests of battery recyclers, sorters, collectors, repurposing companies, and re-users, and we advise policy-makers on how to best address the issues faced by the industry, with the goal of creating a strong European market and industry for batteries.
