2026 AGM & Members Day Brings EBRA Members Together in Brussels
EBRA Members and staff
On 30 April, EBRA members gathered at Mitwit in Brussels for the 2025 AGM and Members Day, bringing together representatives from across the European battery recycling value chain. Companies represented included Recypilas SA, Revatech SA, Saft AB, SARP Industries – Veolia, Umicore NV, Van Peperzeel BV, Batrec (by proxy to Wendy Verschueren), JX Metals Circular Solutions Europe GmbH, and Nordic Salt Cycle.
The AGM opened with the introduction of EBRA’s new management team, followed by a presentation outlining the association’s key activities and priorities for 2025. Members approved the annual accounts and formally discharged the Board for the 2025 period.
A key outcome of the meeting was the agreement to expand the Board with two additional positions, aimed at bringing further expertise and broader industry representation into EBRA’s leadership structure. A new Board was subsequently elected, with board roles confirmed during the session.
Members also agreed to hold an additional EBRA members meeting ahead of ICBR in Berlin on the afternoon of Tuesday, 8 September, with further details to follow.
The Members Day session focused on the evolving European regulatory landscape, with particular attention given to Recycling Efficiency and Recovery of Materials, as well as recycled content requirements under the EU Battery Regulation. The discussions provided members with valuable updates and an opportunity to exchange perspectives on the practical implications for the sector.
