EBRA Announces New Management Support Structure

Following the decision of former Secretary General Julie-Ann Adams to pursue a new professional direction, the EBRA Board has implemented a new management arrangement to ensure continuity of operations and ongoing support for members and partners.

EBRA is pleased to announce that Exempla Management & Consulting has assumed responsibility for the day-to-day management of the association.

Exempla brings significant experience in supporting international associations and will work closely with the EBRA Board and Johan van Peperzeel to coordinate the association’s activities, communications, and member support services.

Johan van Peperzeel, former CEO of Van Peperzeel BV and former Chairman of EBRA, continues to play an important role as technical expert for the association. With decades of experience in the battery recycling sector and long-standing involvement within EBRA, he provides valuable technical knowledge and industry expertise that will continue to support the association and its members.

The transition is further supported by Michiel Gen and Bénédicte Losseau of Exempla, who will serve as the main contact points for administrative matters.

With this new structure in place, EBRA remains fully committed to supporting its members, strengthening collaboration across the sector, and advancing battery recycling and the circular economy in Europe.
