EBRA Elects Expanded Board to Strengthen Industry Expertise

At the 2025 EBRA Annual General Meeting, members approved an important governance development with the decision to increase the number of board members from five (5) to seven (7). The expansion reflects EBRA’s continued growth and its commitment to bringing additional expertise and broader industry representation into the association’s leadership.

The AGM elected the following board members for a two-year term:

  • Arnaud Schoub (re-elected)

  • Jan Tytgat (re-elected)

  • Esteban Marijuan-Requeta (re-elected)

  • Wendy Verschueren (re-elected)

  • Daniel Farnelid (new board member)

  • Philipp Raedecker (new board member)

In addition, Senna Olff-Van Peperzeel will continue serving on the Board for another year, having been elected during the previous AGM.

Following the elections, the newly constituted Board agreed on the following leadership positions:

  • Chairman: Jan Tytgat – Umicore NV

  • Vice-Chair: Esteban Marijuan-Requeta – Recypilas SA

  • Treasurer: Wendy Verschueren – Revatech SA

The new Board combines continuity with fresh perspectives, ensuring that EBRA remains well positioned to support the European battery recycling sector as it navigates evolving regulatory requirements, technological developments, and the transition toward a more circular battery value chain.
