EBRA Members Meeting in Berlin

On 8 September, EBRA welcomed strong participation at its Members Day, held at the JW Marriott Berlin alongside ICBR 2026. Representatives from EBRA's member companies were joined by a number of guests from across the wider battery recycling community for an afternoon dedicated to technical exchange and collaboration.

A Full Afternoon of Substance

Following a welcome by Chairman Jan Tytgat, the programme centred on a workshop on the calculation of recycling efficiency (RE) and recovered materials (RM), combining a presentation with an interactive discussion among attendees. The session gave members and guests the opportunity to engage directly with the methodological questions currently shaping the industry.

The afternoon continued with a discussion of EBRA's common position on the Delegated Act on recycled content calculation, followed by an update on DIWASS.

Building the EBRA Community

For EBRA, Members Day is as much about connection as it is about content. By bringing guests from across the battery recycling industry into the room alongside existing members, the association aims to showcase the value, expertise, and collaborative spirit that define its community and to encourage those guests to consider joining EBRA in the future.

With sessions ranging from technical calculation methodologies to regulatory positioning, the day reflected the breadth of issues EBRA members are navigating together as the EU's battery recycling framework continues to develop.
